Putting Your Future First
If you have made the difficult decision to end your marriage, it is important to retain the services of a knowledgeable divorce lawyer. At Peppler Law P.A., we will help you make intelligent decisions and draft agreements that will protect your interests throughout the course of your divorce. We are committed to providing clear counsel and aggressive representation from the moment you file for divorce.
We work with clients in Oviedo, Winter Springs, Orlando and throughout Seminole County in a full spectrum of uncontested and contested divorce issues involving:
- Spousal support (alimony) obligations and modifications
- Asset and debt division under equitable distribution laws
- High-asset issues for individuals and couples
- Business concerns for owners
- Concerns for older couples (gray divorce issues)
We invest the time upfront to learn the unique circumstances of each client’s situation and discover each client’s priorities. This helps us develop legal strategies to achieve those objectives and put our clients in the best possible position to begin their post-divorce lives.
Helping Families Focus On The Future
Florida is a no-fault divorce state. If either party in a marriage seeks divorce and states that the relationship has been irretrievably broken, the court will grant a divorce. There is no required separation period. In order to get divorced in Florida, one of the spouses must have lived in the state for a minimum of six months before filing a petition for the dissolution of the marriage.
If children are involved, we work to ensure that our clients get a custody or time-sharing arrangement that provides ample opportunity to maintain that relationship. We also protect our clients’ rights regarding financial concerns, including property division, child support and spousal support.
Our meticulous preparation early in the process allows us to negotiate from a position of strength. While we always strive to reach agreement on the important decisions that will be made through negotiation, we are trial-tested attorneys who are prepared to advocate aggressively in court if necessary.
